Winter '03/04 Weekends & Wanderlust

Current vacation packages

We think the best thing you can do to make a weekend or longer getaway really memorable is stay somewhere unique.  We have numerous terrific cabin rentals, in Montana's prime recreation areas, that put a regular motel just completely in the shade.  ANow if that doesn't look like fun.... bit more money, but you can't get that kind of return on the dollar hardly anyplace else these days!  From two to a tribe, we've got the place.   Prices generally start at about $80/night, although you can get by for less if you don't mind roughing it a bit.  If you do (mind) you can spend about as much as anyone would care to, but you'd be surprised what $1500-$2000 for a week will get you.  A veritable mountain palace, with room for ten or more.  Averages out real nicely....

Another superb destination for a winter weekend is one of Montana's natural hot springs resorts. Those are fun anytime, but soaking in a natural hot springs takes on a whole new allure when most of nature is laying under a blanket of snow. Numerous winter specials are available, including "kids under 13 stay free" at Potosi for December. Inquire for details.

You'll be skiing, most likely, but you ought to break it up with a day doing something way out of ordinary.  A few possibilities;

  • Tandem Paragliding; soar with the raptors with a certified guide and instructor.   "Catch a wave (thermal) and you'll be sittin' on top of the world".   $125
  • Dogsled trips in a couple of stunning locations, starting at $106 for a half day.
  • Guided rock, ice, or alpine climbing and instruction, starts at $75/day.
  • Guided wildlife viewing tours via snowshoe, ski, or vehicle start at $85 per half day.
  • Backcountry ski guide service.  Several options from helicopter, snowcat, to leg power and climbing skins. Inquire for pricing. One extremely unique option is fully guided and catered backcountry ski/snowshoe trips where you stay in a warm and comfy yurt. Those are a screaming bargain to boot, starting at just $70/person (and as low as $45/day for two, unguided).

These aren't prefabbed packages, they're custom tailored to you & yours.  Give us a call toll-free at 1-877-613-0404 or e-mail, and get ready to set your clock ahead to Mountain Standard Time, the best time of your life.
